Key Responsibilities
- Provide a clean, friendly, and well-stocked experience for every customer
- Process customer transactions accurately using POS systems and handle all payment methods
- Comply with state laws when transacting beer purchases
- Balance cash drawers at shift start and end
- Process exchanges and refunds according to company policy
- Maintain a tidy checkout area and assist with stocking and labeling merchandise
- Serve as first responder to customer complaints
- Train new crew members and perform other assigned duties
- Work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
Qualifications & Skills
- Excellent listening and clear communication skills to meet customer needs
- Mastery of POS functions and basic math skills
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Physically able to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform light cleaning and maintenance
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Previous cashier or retail experience is a plus
