Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Perform all repairs in accordance with Waste Management Safety and Life Critical Rules and OSHA requirements
- Conduct preventive maintenance inspections (PM); diagnose, repair, and rebuild major equipment including balers, conveyors, hydraulic power packs, optical sorters, compressors, motors, forklifts, front-end loaders, and more
- Maintain Daily Equipment Inspections (DEI) backlog
- Establish and adjust work procedures to meet production schedules; advise management when work cannot be completed within Standard Repair Times (SRTs)
- Inspect quality of third-party repairs and rebuilds
- Recommend measures to improve production, equipment performance, and product quality
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and perform service calls
- Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate/OSHA standards
- Work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends as needed
Qualifications- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to meet physical requirements of the role with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check
Education & Experience- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum 2 years of relevant maintenance experience
