Fueling Your Passion

As a Gas Turbine Mechanic – 2nd Shift, you will support assembly and mechanical work activities related to gas turbine components. You will apply strong mechanical aptitude, follow formal work instructions, and assist in guiding work efforts to ensure quality, safety, and productivity targets are met.

As a Gas Turbine Mechanic, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing mechanical assembly and related work using hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.
  • Demonstrating a desire and ability to support and guide others during work efforts.
  • Utilizing forklifts and departmental equipment in accordance with training, safety, and operational requirements.
  • Reading and following work instructions, drawings, and procedures to ensure accurate assembly and quality outcomes.
  • Supporting general shop activities based on business needs, including material handling and equipment setup.
  • Maintaining a safe and organized work environment in line with company Health, Safety, Environmental (HSE) standards.
  • Conducting all activities in alignment with company policies, quality requirements, and core values.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Have a minimum of 3+ years of relevant mechanical or industrial experience.
  • Have a strong mechanical background with hands‑on experience using tools and equipment for assembly work.
  • Have successfully completed required welding tests and qualifications.
  • Have the ability to follow standardized work instructions and procedures with attention to detail.
  • Have the ability to work safely in an industrial environment while using required personal protective equipment (PPE).
