Summary:
Location: Houston, TX
Duration: 6 Months
This role is a 2nd shift based working pattern: Monday-Friday -2pm-10:30pm OT and Weekends
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot, test, assemble, disassemble, and perform visual inspections of Aero/Module Equipment.
Assist in repairing and modifying non-conforming equipment.
Perform all tests with minimal instruction and provide technical support across the business.
Comply with HS&E policies.
Work as a team member to follow detailed work routers for inspection and repair of units and rotating equipment under time constraints.
Provide on-site support as needed.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 4 years of overhaul and repair experience in at least one of the following areas: Aero, GE10, PGT 10/PGT 25, Frame 3/Frame 5.
Good knowledge of HSE requirements and ability to follow and update safety policies and procedures.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with hand, pneumatic, and hydraulic tooling.
Ability to accurately use precision measuring equipment (ID/OD/depth micrometers, calipers, etc.).
Deep mechanical aptitude with the ability to independently comprehend complex machining or assembly drawings.
