About the Role
American Energy Resources is hiring Gas Utility Workers to support gas meter installation and replacement projects. This role is ideal for individuals looking to get started in utility field work with paid training and long-term growth opportunities.
What You’ll Do
- Perform outdoor utility work as part of a technician team.
- Assist with gas meter installation and replacement.
- Follow all safety procedures and job site standards.
- Complete physically active work throughout the day.
- Maintain a professional and safety-compliant appearance.
What We’re Looking For
- A valid driver’s license is required for job-related travel.
- Ability to perform the essential job functions of this role with or without reasonable accommodation, including physical outdoor work throughout the duration of the shift.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- No experience required — training is provided.
Pay & Growth
- Training pay starts at $20.00 per hour.
- Overtime available at 1.5x after 40 hours.
