Full-time opportunity with our client for an experienced gas welder for a hands-on role with a leading industrial and fabrication team.
Key Requirements
- Must be able to pass a 3G welding test using GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding)
- Must be able to pass a 2G welding test using SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding)
Responsibilities
- Perform welding duties using GMAW and SMAW processes on a variety of materials and components
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to complete welds to specification
- Inspect welds to ensure quality and compliance with project requirements
- Maintain safety procedures and adhere to all workplace safety standards
- Work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Proven experience with GMAW and SMAW welding techniques
- Ability to pass required welding tests prior to starting
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Familiarity with welding safety standards and PPE usage
- Reliable and punctual with a solid work ethic
