Qualifications:
- Education: MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Licensure: Active New York State Medical License (Required).
- Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible.

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in diagnostic and therapeutic GI procedures (e.g., endoscopy, colonoscopy), interpretation of related diagnostics, and management of digestive disorders.
- Soft Skills: Excellent bedside manner, strong communication skills, cultural competence, compassion, attention to detail, and a team-oriented approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive gastroenterology care to patients.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of digestive system disorders.
- Perform endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopy and upper endoscopy.
- Develop and manage individualized treatment plans.
- Interpret diagnostic test results and imaging studies.
- Educate patients on digestive health, disease prevention, and treatment options.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation.
