Gastroenterologist (GI)

Location: Pennsylvania

Position Summary

We are seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Gastroenterologist to join a well-established and growing healthcare organization in Pennsylvania. This opportunity offers a strong referral base, advanced endoscopic capabilities, and the support of a collaborative multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.

Practice Highlights

  • Join an established Gastroenterology practice with physician and advanced practice provider support

  • Strong referral network from primary care providers and specialists

  • Modern hospital and ambulatory surgery center environment

  • Perform a full range of endoscopic procedures, including:

    • Colonoscopy

    • Upper Endoscopy (EGD)

    • Capsule Endoscopy

    • Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS)

    • ERCP

    • SpyGlass Procedures

  • Dedicated clinical and administrative support staff

  • EMR-supported practice environment

  • Opportunity to help expand and grow Gastroenterology services

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat disorders of the digestive system, liver, pancreas, and gastrointestinal tract

  • Perform routine and advanced endoscopic procedures

  • Evaluate and manage patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings

  • Collaborate with primary care providers, surgeons, hospitalists, and specialists

  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient education efforts

  • Provide consultative services as needed

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school

  • Completion of an accredited Gastroenterology Fellowship

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology

  • Eligible for Pennsylvania medical licensure

  • DEA certification or eligibility

  • Strong commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork
