University of Maryland Shore Medical Center at Easton is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist to join a well-established, high-volume practice in Easton, Maryland.
This opportunity offers full-time or PRN schedule options, a collaborative team environment, and access to an Endoscopy Center buy-in opportunity for long-term practice growth.
Practice Details
- Established practice with 40+ years of history
- Team includes:
- 4 Gastroenterologists
- 4 Nurse Practitioners
- Hospital-employed position within UMMS
- Call schedule: 1:5 rotation
- Endoscopy Center buy-in opportunity (full-time physicians)
- ERCP training preferred but not required
Clinical Scope & Procedures
- Diagnosis and management of GI and hepatobiliary disorders
- Conditions treated include:
- GERD and Barretts esophagus
- IBD (Crohns disease, ulcerative colitis)
- GI malignancies (colon, stomach, pancreatic cancers)
- Procedures performed:
- Colonoscopy
- Upper endoscopy (EGD)
- Sigmoidoscopy
- ERCP
- PEG placement
- HNPCC testing
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $575,698
- Based on MGMA and SullivanCotter benchmarks
- Commensurate with experience and training
- Sign-on bonus: $20,000-$25,000
- Additional incentives may include:
- Housing allowance up to $50,000 (year one) OR relocation assistance up to $10,000
- Productivity-based bonus (wRVU model)

Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Completion of Internal Medicine residency
- Completion of Gastroenterology fellowship
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
- Maryland medical license (or eligibility)
- ERCP experience preferred but not required
