This academic medical center and teaching hospital operates 500 beds and holds a Level 1 trauma center designation. The facility maintains the clinical infrastructure and established protocols necessary to support outpatient gastroenterology coverage. Locum tenens gastroenterology coverage is sought to address ongoing staffing needs.

Illinois offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of cultural, natural, and recreational attractions throughout the state. The state features outdoor recreation opportunities, regional forest preserves, and designated natural areas. Additional regional attractions include breweries, wineries, distilleries, and scenic preserves that support year-round activities.

The gastroenterologist will provide outpatient gastroenterology coverage on a day shift schedule, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, on an ongoing basis. Clinical responsibilities include managing outpatient gastroenterology cases in accordance with established facility protocols. No call coverage is required for this locum tenens assignment. All services are delivered on-site.
