Opportunity: Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group is searching for a BC/BE Gastroenterologist to practice at a new comprehensive care center conveniently located in West Houston/Katy in the Cinco Ranch area. This innovative facility is designed to elevate the patient and provider experience with cutting-edge technology and seamless care delivery. Clinical care to be offered at the new facility include primary care, orthopedics and sports medicine, physical therapy, specialty care, and an onsite lab for quick test results.

Job Description:

Diagnose and treat a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders, including but not limited to GERD, IBS, IBD, and liver diseases. Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, and flexible sigmoidoscopy. Evaluate and manage both acute and chronic GI conditions in outpatient and inpatient settings. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including primary care, surgery, and oncology, to optimize patient care. Participate in on-call rotation for hospital consults and emergencies. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters and procedures. Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment options, and preventive care.

Qualifications:

Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology. Ability to obtain a Texas medical license or have a Texas medical license in good standing. Candidates with experience or new residents/fellows are welcome to apply.
