Gastroenterologist | Full-Time

Location: Hilton Head, South Carolina

A well-established, nonprofit healthcare organization in the Hilton Head, South Carolina area is actively seeking a full-time Gastroenterologist to join its expanding digestive health team. This opportunity offers a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient care, with the ability to perform endoscopic procedures while working alongside a collaborative team of specialists in a modern healthcare environment.

Position Overview

• Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of gastrointestinal disorders

• Maintain a balanced practice consisting of both inpatient consultations and outpatient clinic care

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including upper endoscopy (EGD) and colonoscopy

• Manage a wide range of digestive diseases involving the esophagus, stomach, liver, pancreas, gallbladder, small bowel, and colon

• Collaborate closely with hospitalists, primary care physicians, surgeons, oncologists, and specialty teams

• Utilize an integrated EMR system to maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation

• Participate in shared call coverage as part of a collaborative GI team

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology

• Eligible for South Carolina medical licensure

• Active or eligible DEA registration

• ERCP and/or EUS experience is welcomed but not required

• Strong procedural, clinical, communication, and patient-centered care skills
