Our client, a leading academic medical institution, is hiring a General Clinical Gastroenterologist to join their faculty. As a General Clinical Gastroenterologist, you will play a vital role in managing a diverse patient population with various gastrointestinal pathologies, including non-transplant liver disease.
Responsibilities:
Outpatient and inpatient management
Performing general procedures such as endoscopy, Endoscopic Ultrasound, ERCP, and Esophageal Motility
Opportunity to teach residents and fellows, and contribute to clinical research
Required:
MD degree
Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology
Valid New York State License
DEA and Medicaid number
Experience in teaching and clinical research
Familiarity with urban, ethnically diverse patient populations
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
