Our client, a well-established, high-volume gastroenterology practice with a strong presence in Suffolk County, Long Island, is hiring a Gastroenterologist. Responsibilities
Conduct outpatient GI consultations and procedures, managing a high patient volume efficiently within a supportive environment.
Collaborate with a dedicated Physician Assistant (PA) and clinical support staff to ensure streamlined patient care, administrative processes, and follow-up communication.
Perform procedures at the affiliated ambulatory surgery center, supporting the practice's high procedural volume.
Maintain adherence to practice standards and contribute to a positive practice environment, with potential for long-term partnership and ownership opportunities.
Requirements
Board-certified or board-eligible in Gastroenterology.
Minimum of 4 years of prior experience in outpatient GI practice, with preference for candidates familiar with high-volume outpatient settings.
Strong clinical decision-making skills, excellent communication, and teamwork orientation.
Ability to work independently, leveraging dedicated clinical support to minimize administrative burdens.
Commitment to building a long-term relationship within an established practice.
