Gastroenterology Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Opportunity Join a Growing Private Practice

Our established GI practice is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our collaborative team and provide exceptional patient care in an outpatient-focused setting.

Work alongside experienced gastroenterologists in a supportive environment where your skills and expertise are valued.

Responsibilities:

• Work in a clinical setting, mostly outpatient clinics and rarely in hospital setting
• Conduct patient examinations and obtain medical histories.
• Diagnose and treat Gastroenterology conditions under the supervision of a physician.
• Order, interpret and review diagnostic tests, including lab work, imaging and pathology reports
• Develop and implement patient treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications and provide patient education on treatment and preventative care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure patient-centered care.
• Return phone calls to the patient for health-related questions and test results.
