Required Skills
- Board Certification in Gastroenterology
- Proven expertise in ERCP and EUS procedures
- Valid medical license in the state; IMLC accepted
- DEA certification
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR documentation system (preferred)
- Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience working in inpatient hospital settings
- Additional procedural certifications or specialties
- Prior experience with hospital-based patient management
Preferred Education and Experience
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Minimum of several years of experience performing ERCP and EUS procedures in a hospital setting
Other Requirements
- Active medical license in North Carolina
- Willingness to travel as needed (flight, lodging, transportation covered)
- Vaccinations in compliance with healthcare standards
- Successful privileging process within 60-90 days
Starting on August 17, 2026, this position offers a lucrative hourly pay rate of $522.60, with weekly pay via direct deposit. The contract is initially for six months, with ongoing opportunities until a permanent placement is secured. Support staff includes dedicated Advanced Practice Providers, and the schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no call requirements.
