What You'll Do
- Provide outpatient gastroenterology consultations and procedures
- Perform upper endoscopies, colonoscopies, ERCPs, and other advanced GI procedures
- Manage patient populations with complex needs, including non-compliant and high-acuity patients
- Respond to urgent call-ins related to active bleeding or emergencies (response within 30 mins offsite; 12 hours onsite)
- Collaborate with support staff, including APPs, to deliver high-quality patient care
- Ensure accurate documentation in Meditech EMR system
- Contribute to a welcoming and patient-centered environment
What You Need
Required:- Medical license in Kentucky
- Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology
- Proven procedural skills (EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Preferred:- Experience in managing complex GI cases
- Ability to handle high patient volumes and non-compliant patients
