What You’ll Do
- Provide outpatient gastroenterology consultations and management
- Perform routine and advanced procedures: EGD, colonoscopies, ERCP, stent placements, argon plasma coagulation, biopsies, and more
- Respond to emergency consults during scheduled on-call shifts
- Manage patients with complex GI conditions, including luminal stent placements and hemostasis procedures
- Collaborate with support staff to ensure quality patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to facility protocols
- Engage with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
What You Need
- Valid medical license in Kentucky
- Board certification in Gastroenterology (AOBOG or ABOG preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in GI practice, including procedural skills
- Proficiency in Meditech EMR or similar systems
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently while maintaining team collaboration
