Gastroenterology Physician
We are seeking a dedicated Gastroenterology Physician to join our team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a well-equipped hospital setting with a supportive team.

Job Details:
- Start Date: 08/17/2026
- Shift Schedule:
- Ongoing procedures and call coverage
- 8/17 7am - 24/7 (initial shift)
- 9/1, 9/28, 10/1: 10-hour days (7am-5pm)
- M-F Night Call (7am-7am)
- Weekend 24-hour call on Saturdays and Sundays
- Work Details:
- Support Staff: Onsite Anesthesiology
- Coverage Needed: 1 week per month and weekends
- Patient Population: Adults 18+
- EMR System: EPIC
- Hospital Bed Size: 593 beds
- Procedures: No ERCP or EUS scheduled, emergency procedures only
- Outpatient Procedures Scheduled Mainly in the mornings
- Rounding: Yes, with a daily census of 30-50 patients, including 9-16 new consults per day
- Practice Setting: Hospital-based
- Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
- Physician Assistant (PA) license required; DEA license needed
- Minimum of 1 year of experience
- Credentialing timeframe: 90 days (temporary options available with a clean file)
- Active PA License or IMLC in hand required
- APP supervision for consults and follow-ups
