Gate Operator Technician - Commercial Security Systems - Low Voltage

Electronic Security Services, Inc. (ESSI) has a great opportunity for a Gate Operator Technician. We are currently looking to expand our team and are hiring individuals who possess a good work ethic and desire long term full time employment.

The perfect candidate will have basic mechanical and electrical experience as well as a general knowledge of hand and power tools, which will be used to install, service and repair new and existing gates operators and equipment.

What You Will Do :

Provide installation, service work, and preventative maintenance on security control equipment. May also provide service and installation of; access control system, telephone entry, and video surveillance. This individual will receive paid training from the manufacturer, as well as on the job.

Skills needed:

• Basic low voltage electrical experience
• General knowledge of hand tools, which will be used to install, service and repair new and existing security equipment
• Mechanical skills helpful
• Use problem solving skills to troubleshoot and diagnose failed equipment in the field.
• A good driving record and ability to pass a background check is required.

ESSI provides on-line training as well as on the job and factory representative training.
 

Educational:

High School Degree or Trade school(s) or any other related training for gate automation, mechanical, electrical, welding, etc.

Experience: 

Gate Operator (barrier, swing, slide) experience preferred, but not required.
