Job Description:
SMI Security is currently seeking a sharp, professional, and bilingual Gatehouse Security Officer to join our team in the Kendall / Dadeland area. This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoys working with people in a customer-facing environment.
As a Gatehouse Officer, you will be responsible for controlling access to the property, greeting residents and visitors, verifying credentials, and maintaining a safe and secure environment. Strong communication skills in both English and Spanish are required.
Pay Rate:
$16.00 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control access at the gatehouse.
- Verify identification and authorize entry of residents, guests, and vendors.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and visitors.
- Maintain accurate logs and reports.
- Respond to incidents and follow proper security procedures.
Requirements:
- Bilingual (English & Spanish required).
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Professional appearance and attitude.
- Ability to work well with others and independently.
