 Location: Onsite
 Pay Rate: $21.00/hour
 Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
 Assignment Length: Through October 31, 2026
 Start Date: June 29, 2026
 

 

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Gateway Office Operations Agent to support both warehouse and administrative operations within a fast-paced logistics environment. This role is approximately 50% office-based and 50% warehouse-based, requiring strong multitasking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage shipment processing while supporting cold chain logistics operations.

 

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with computers and spreadsheets, handling physical warehouse tasks, managing shipment documentation, and maintaining temperature-sensitive packaging requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities

Administrative & Operations Support

  • Monitor and respond to individual and group email accounts.
  • Review, update, and maintain shipment information within internal systems.
  • Complete daily operational reports using company software and Excel spreadsheets.
  • Investigate shipment discrepancies and update records accordingly.
  • Monitor and manage on-hold shipments awaiting export or delivery approval.
  • Verify shipment documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinate shipment processing and cargo bookings through internal systems.

 

Warehouse & Logistics Operations

  • Prepare packaging materials and supplies for customer shipments.
  • Refurbish and recondition reusable cold chain packaging materials.
  • Support cold chain replenishment and customer packaging requirements.
  • Handle temperature-sensitive products according to established procedures.
  • Prepare and configure gel packs and specialized packaging materials.
  • Process inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Operate pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
  • Assist with inventory movement and warehouse organization.

 

Compliance & Safety

  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Complete required training by established deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records.
  • Support operational efficiency and quality standards.
  • Work overtime when business needs require.

 

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Less than one year of related work experience required.
  • Ability to work in both warehouse and office environments.
  • Strong computer and data entry skills.
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Ability to work around refrigerated and freezer environments.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Logistics, transportation, distribution, or warehouse experience.
  • Cold chain handling experience.
  • Shipping and receiving experience.
  • Inventory control experience.
  • Experience working with temperature-sensitive products.
  • Pallet jack operation experience.
  • Experience processing shipment documentation.
