GCP Architect

Location: New York, NY – Onsite

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced GCP Architect with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform, Terraform, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and GCP AI services. The ideal candidate will provide hands-on technical leadership, design and automate cloud infrastructure, support GKE platforms, and implement cloud security and governance best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Develop and maintain reusable Terraform modules for automated infrastructure provisioning.

• Support Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) deployments and Kubernetes platform operations.

• Integrate cloud infrastructure with CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.

• Collaborate with security teams to implement cloud governance and compliance controls.

• Apply security best practices across identity, networking, secrets management, and data protection.

• Support Vertex AI and GCP AI/ML workloads.

• Implement and maintain secure cloud architecture across enterprise environments.

• Provide technical guidance on cloud infrastructure, automation, security, and platform engineering.

• Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues and recommend improvements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of cloud engineering experience.

• Recent hands-on experience with GCP in production environments.

• Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform.

• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code.

• Experience with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and Kubernetes.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Harness or equivalent platforms.

• Experience with cloud automation and modern DevOps practices.

• Working knowledge of cloud security concepts and controls.

• Strong understanding of identity, networking, secrets management, and data protection.
