Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced GCP Cloud Engineer to support enterprise cloud migration, modernization, and infrastructure automation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Terraform, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD, cloud networking, security, and automation within large-scale enterprise environments.
Required Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
5+ years of experience with Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
Strong experience with GCP foundation services including:
Compute Engine
VPC & Shared VPC
Cloud Storage
IAM
Networking & Security
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar CI/CD platforms.
Strong scripting experience with Python, Bash, PowerShell, and YAML.
Experience with Windows and Linux infrastructure administration.
Strong understanding of cloud security, disaster recovery, monitoring, logging, and automation.
Experience supporting enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure deployments.
Preferred Qualifications
Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect Certification.
Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer Certification.
Experience with containers and cloud-native technologies.
Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and manage GCP infrastructure using Terraform.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Build highly available cloud networking environments including VPCs and Shared VPCs.
Implement cloud monitoring, logging, and observability solutions.
Collaborate with security teams to implement cloud governance and security best practices.
Manage IAM roles, permissions, and access controls.
Build and support automated CI/CD pipelines.
Provide Tier-2 support and participate in a rotating 24x7 on-call schedule.
Evaluate new GCP services and recommend cloud adoption strategies.

Must successfully pass State, Federal, Criminal Background, and CJIS clearances.
Participation in a rotating after-hours on-call schedule is required.
