We are seeking a Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, maintain, and support cloud infrastructure primarily within Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience managing GCP infrastructure and deploying cloud solutions, along with the ability to understand, maintain, and troubleshoot existing application/infrastructure code.
The role requires strong knowledge of GCP, Terraform/IaC, cloud deployments, Splunk, and Dynatrace, with additional experience in Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring, and Google Cloud Load Balancing. Candidates should have working knowledge of Java, Python, or C# but do not need to be full-time developers.
Design, implement, deploy, and support cloud infrastructure on GCP.
Manage day-to-day cloud infrastructure operations, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform.
Deploy and manage applications and infrastructure within Google Cloud Platform.
Implement and support Blue/Green deployment strategies.
Configure and manage GCP services including:Cloud Logging
Cloud Monitoring
Cloud Load Balancing
IAM
Cloud Run
Cloud Functions
VPC/networking
Monitor cloud environments using Splunk and Dynatrace.
Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, performance, and availability issues.
Maintain and make minor modifications to existing code written in Java, Python, or C#.
Support CI/CD and automated deployment processes.
Collaborate with development, architecture, infrastructure, and other technical teams.
Apply cloud infrastructure, security, availability, scalability, and operational best practices.
Support ongoing optimization and modernization of GCP environments.
Participate in production support and ensure reliable operation of cloud services.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required.
4+ years of IT experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Experience designing, implementing, deploying, and supporting cloud infrastructure.
Strong experience with Terraform / Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).
Hands-on experience deploying solutions within GCP.
Experience with Splunk and Dynatrace – REQUIRED.
Experience with GCP Cloud Logging and Cloud Monitoring.
Experience with Google Cloud Load Balancing.
Working knowledge of at least one programming language:Java
Python
C#
Ability to understand, maintain, troubleshoot, and modify existing code.
Experience with cloud infrastructure management and day-to-day operations.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Blue/Green deployment patterns.
Previous experience working with Ford Motor Company.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
Experience with Kubernetes/GKE.
Experience with GCP networking and security.
Experience with cloud automation and DevOps practices.
Experience with additional GCP services such as Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, IAM, and VPC.
Understanding of SRE principles, although this is not a pure SRE position.
Experience supporting enterprise-scale cloud environments.
