    Job Summary:

    The Intake Specialist participates in the referral review and triage process for the Golisano Center for Special Needs (GCSN). The Intake Specialist communicates with providers, school districts, and families/caregivers to gather information on referrals, discuss appropriateness of referrals and determine appropriate services to meet the patient's needs. This role manages and runs triage team meetings and oversees the overall triage process in collaboration with the GCSN team.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Bachelor''s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field required.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    One year of experience working with the intellectual and/or developmental disabilities population. Experience with case management and working within multidisciplinary teams. Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
