Position Summary/Purpose:
Provide programmatic and logistical support for new student and family programs within the Department of Welcome Programs.
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities/Essential Functions:
Assist with creating, coordinating, and implementing logistics for events and activities
Assist with creating, coordinating, and implementing curricula and programs
Provide operational, task-oriented support for all programs, events, and activities
Network and collaborate with other GCU departments, partners, and students
Maintain and expand knowledge of relevant systems, platforms, and resources to aid in managing organizational details
Support daily office functions and administrative tasks, including answering phone calls and emails
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Experience and interest in event planning and/or curriculum development
Excellent written and oral communication, as well as interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Desire to learn new skills and ability to take and receive direction from staff
Ability to balance multiple tasks at one time and take initiative of responsibilities
Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.

Pay Rate: Minimum Wage
