As the Geek Squad City Director, you will lead one of Best Buy's most critical services and fulfillment operations, overseeing multiple functional teams responsible for delivering exceptional customer and client experiences. You'll drive operational excellence, develop high-performing leaders, and execute strategies that support enterprise priorities while balancing customer satisfaction, employee engagement, and financial performance. Successful candidates bring strong business acumen, people leadership, and a passion for building inclusive, results-driven cultures where teams can thrive.

This role is based onsite at Geek Squad City and requires close collaboration with leaders, employees, vendor partners, and cross-functional stakeholders across the organization.

What you'll do

• Lead and develop a high-performing culture built on trust, belonging, accountability, and results.
• Drive operational excellence through effective execution of business priorities and performance expectations.
• Establish clear goals and accountability to improve customer, employee, and financial outcomes.
• Partner with enterprise leaders to develop and execute strategic operational plans.
• Use business insights, data, and financial metrics to identify opportunities and deliver results.

Basic qualifications

• 5+ years of management experience in business, military, or related fields.
• 5+ years of services, retail, supply chain, or related operational experience.
• Advanced proficiency in data reporting, analysis, and decision-making.
• Expert problem-solving skills with experience addressing complex business challenges.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, and facilitation skills.

Preferred qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
• 5+ years of project management experience.
• 5+ years of financial management experience with P&L responsibility.
• Experience managing vendor or third-party partnerships.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
