Gelato server

We are a premium Italian gelato shop in Winter Park focused on quality, presentation, and customer experience. We’re looking for team members who take pride in their work, enjoy interacting with people, and can perform well in a fast-paced environment.

This is a hands-on role ideal for individuals who like staying active, working as part of a team, and delivering a great product every time. This role involves physical tasks as part of daily operations, and we provide the tools to perform them safely and efficiently.

• Ability to stay active and engaged throughout the entire shift
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus
• Previous experience in restaurants, cafés, or similar is a plus

What This Job Requires (Important):

• Continuous customer interaction during shifts
• Standing for extended periods (entire shift)
• Multitasking between serving, cleaning, restocking, and organizing
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation at all times
• Working efficiently during busy periods without losing attention to detail
• Handling and moving gelato containers (approx. 4–6 kg / 9–13 lbs) from freezer to display
• Working in cold environments for short periods while handling frozen products
• Using a cart to transport products safely and efficiently
• Must be comfortable handling cold products as part of daily operations

Responsibilities:

• Serve gelato and prepare coffee while maintaining high standards of presentation and customer experience
• Recommend flavors and assist customers with selections
• Operate the POS system and handle transactions accurately
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment
• Restock products and monitor inventory levels
• Follow opening and closing procedures as assigned

Schedule:

Shifts are scheduled within the following operating hours:

• Sunday to Thursday: 12:00 PM to 9:30 PM.
• Friday and Saturday: 12:00 PM to 10:30 PM.
