Your Role
Akkodis is seeking a Gen AI Architect for a Contract with a client in Chicago, IL (Hybrid). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering enterprise‑grade generative AI solutions, including RAG pipelines and autonomous multi‑agent systems.
Rate Range: $53/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Gen AI Architect Job Responsibilities include:
Define and design end-to-end GenAI architectures, including RAG pipelines, multimodal models, and autonomous multi-agent systems.
Build and standardize reusable architectural patterns, blueprints, and engineering templates for scalable AI adoption.
Architect secure, cloud-native microservices and APIs to integrate LLM orchestration with enterprise systems.
Lead model and agent strategy, including LLM selection, prompt engineering standards, and agent orchestration frameworks.
Implement GenAIOps/LLMOps pipelines for deployment, monitoring, evaluation, and drift detection.
Embed governance, security, and Responsible AI guardrails to ensure compliance, reliability, and quality of AI solutions.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
8+ years of overall software engineering experience with 3+ years in GenAI or agentic system architecture.
Strong hands-on expertise in Python, LLM frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, CrewAI), and designing RAG and multi-agent architectures in production environments.
Proven experience architecting cloud-native GenAI solutions using AWS/Azure/GCP, vector databases, and LLMOps practices with a focus on scalability, security, and governance.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $60.00 per hour
