Gen AI automation Engineer

McLean, VA (Mon – Fri on-site)

Introduction

We are seeking a skilled professional for a 6-month role in McLean, VA. The ideal candidate will have a strong AI development background with hands-on experience in building agentic workflows and automating testing using AI.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in AI development.
• Hands-on experience with agentic testing patterns and building reusable implementations.
• Proficiency with GitHub, Copilot, and Claude.
• Experience in GenAI/LLM agentic development, including building LLM-powered agents and designing agent workflows.
• Advanced skills in test automation engineering, particularly with Karate and Playwright frameworks.
• Proven ability to aggregate and normalize results from multiple microservices and pipelines.
• Prior work experience at client or in the client's industry.

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with GitHub Actions, PR checks, and automation via GitHub APIs/webhooks.
• Strong understanding of test design and coverage, including happy path, negative, and edge scenarios.
• Experience implementing automated checks for requirements review and completeness validation.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Design and implement agentic testing patterns for multiple teams and domains.
• Define and publish coverage standards and provide templates for test plans and cases.
• Build automated reporting and generate GenAI-driven summaries for engineering leadership.
• Create and integrate automated quality gates into GitHub workflows to reduce churn and rework.
