Work you'll do
We are seeking a Gen AI Solutions Architect Contractor with advanced experience in Generative AI engineering, Python, APIs, microservices, and cloud-native architecture. The role will design and support the implementation of technology solutions that meet business needs, align with enterprise architecture standards, and address security, scalability, and maintainability requirements.
The architect will define solution blueprints, establish technical standards, and provide architectural guidance to delivery teams developing GenAI-enabled enterprise solutions
Key Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end solution architectures that embed Generative AI capabilities into enterprise systems.
- Define architecture patterns for LLMs, RAG pipelines, prompt engineering, AI agents, and related services.
- Develop solution-specific blueprints covering application components, subsystems, interfaces, integrations, and data flows.
- Translate approved solution elements into designs that satisfy business, technical, security, performance, and scalability requirements.
- Establish architecture standards, design principles, and governance frameworks for microservices, APIs, and cloud-native applications.
- Model application, data, integration, and security architectures to support maintainable and scalable solutions.
- Define interaction requirements among application components, subsystems, APIs, and external services.
- Evaluate and recommend GenAI platforms, frameworks, models, and tools based on technical feasibility, architectural fit, security, and long-term scalability.
- Support in conducting architecture reviews and technical design assessments.
- Verify that proposed designs align with enterprise architecture standards and security requirements.
- Provide technical guidance to GenAI and Python development teams during solution design and implementation.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, security teams, infrastructure teams, and delivery teams to translate requirements into practical technical designs.
- Support the development and management of a portfolio of technology solutions.
- Identify architectural risks, dependencies, performance considerations, and integration constraints.
- Document architecture decisions, design patterns, interface requirements, and implementation guidance.
Required Qualifications
- 6-9 years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, or a related technical architecture role.
- Hands-on experience designing Generative AI and LLM-based solutions.
- Experience with RAG architectures, prompt engineering, AI agents, and LLM integration patterns.
- Strong Python experience supporting AI and enterprise application development.
- Strong understanding of microservices, APIs, event-driven integration, and cloud-native design patterns.
- Experience designing secure, scalable, and highly available enterprise solutions.
- Experience defining and applying architecture standards across multiple delivery teams.
- Experience conducting architecture reviews and technical design assessments.
- Understanding of enterprise security, data protection, identity, access management, and secure AI design principles.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Strong documentation, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the banking and capital markets industry.
- Experience designing solutions for fraud detection, fraud investigation, financial crime, or risk management.
- Experience with cloud platforms and managed AI services.
- Experience with API management, containerization, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices.
- Experience integrating GenAI capabilities with core banking, transaction processing, or enterprise data platforms.
The expected pay range for this contract assignment is $70-$75 per hour. The exact pay rate will vary based on skills, experience, and location and will be determined by the third-party whose employees provide services to Deloitte.
