Contract GenAI Engineer Specialized AI Agents | Content Intelligence | Compliance & Quality Automation

We are seeking a Contract GenAI Engineer to develop specialized Generative AI agents that power content intelligence, insight generation, audience personalization, and automated quality and compliance review processes.

In this role, you will work within an established AI architecture, translating defined business use cases into production-ready GenAI solutions. You will design and implement agent logic, integrations, structured outputs, automated testing, and evaluation frameworks that ensure reliable, grounded, and scalable AI experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy production-grade GenAI agents that support:

• Insight synthesis and summarization

• Evidence-based content generation

• Audience personalization

• Automated content quality and compliance checks

• Design and implement agent workflows using tool calling, retrieval, grounding, and structured outputs.

• Integrate AI agents with enterprise systems, including APIs, document repositories, content management platforms, and other AI services.

• Ensure output reliability through validation frameworks, citations, provenance tracking, and controls that reduce unsupported or inaccurate responses.

• Create structured response formats that can be consumed consistently by applications and downstream services.

• Develop automated tests and evaluation frameworks to measure agent performance, accuracy, reliability, and failure scenarios.

• Collaborate within an established architecture while independently delivering deployable, production-quality code.

Required Qualifications

• Strong software engineering experience using Python and/or TypeScript in production environments.

• Proven experience building and deploying Generative AI agents with:

• Tool calling

• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)

• Grounded AI responses

• Structured output generation

• Experience integrating AI agents with APIs, content platforms, document repositories, and enterprise systems.

• Strong understanding of validation techniques, citation management, provenance tracking, and AI governance controls.

• Experience designing automated testing and evaluation processes for agent behavior, accuracy, reliability, and edge cases.

• Hands-on experience developing GenAI applications with:

• AWS

• Amazon Bedrock

• AgentCore

• Ability to work independently and deliver scalable, production-ready solutions within a defined technical framework.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing solutions for:

• Insight synthesis

• Evidence-grounded content generation

• Audience segmentation and personalization

• Automated content-quality assessment

• Experience working with regulated content environments, including:

• Commercial content review

• Clinical content workflows

• Promotional claims validation

• Compliance-focused approval processes

• Familiarity with platforms such as:

• Veeva

• Adobe Experience Cloud solutions

• Regulated content management systems

• Experience building AI solutions that balance innovation, accuracy, compliance, and governance requirements.

Location & Work Arrangement

• San Francisco Bay Area candidates preferred, with the ability to work onsite 1-2 days per week.
• Candidates outside the Bay Area must provide 4-6 hours of daily overlap with Pacific Time business hours.
