Position: General Accountant
Location:   Cameron Park, CA
Status:   Full Time
Hours:   Monday - Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• GL account maintenance
• Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Manage fixed asset and depreciation schedules
• Record accruals and track prepayments
• Reconcile loan payments and maintain accurate amortization schedules
• Reconcile credit cards and general accounts monthly
• Review of payroll data for accuracy
• Analyze financial data and assist with budgets and forecasts
• Assist with AP and AR related activities including creating invoices and communication with customers and vendors
• Process vendor returns and track debit and credit memos
• Maintain and review inventory reports and job costing data
• Perform inventory cycle counts
• Track cash flow
• File and organize internal financial files (paper and electronic)

Qualifications:

• AA or BA in accounting preferred but not required
• 3-5 years of accounting experience
• Detailed knowledge of excel and word programs
• Experience with accounting software within and ERP, Jobboss2 is a plus
• Knowledge of internal control framework
