This U.S. affiliate is currently seeking a General Accountant - Payroll Lead to join its Accounting team.Essential DutiesOversee and handle payroll processes and compliance (state and federal), ensuring escalated payroll issues are resolved in a timely mannerPrepare and report financial and payroll statements to HQ in JapanHandle various accounting processes, which may include:Handling daily ledgers and journal entriesSupporting accounts payable tasksGeneral accounting reconciliation and data accuracy checkingProcessing monthly and year‑end closings, and participating in internal and external auditsAssisting with internal managerial accounting tasks (WILL)Preparing financial statements and tax return filingsUse Excel to analyze and report financial figures to managers upon requestParticipate in, contribute to, and manage various corporate activities focusing on deeper thinking, value exchange, and constant improvementPerform other duties as assigned as a member of the Operations departmentWorking Hours & StyleRegular working hours Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
