We are seeking a General Accounting Senior Analyst to join a growing finance team supporting operations across Europe, IMEA, and APAC. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to develop their career within a dynamic, international environment while contributing to the continuous improvement of finance processes and financial reporting.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information, supporting month-end activities, tax compliance, reconciliations, and various finance transformation initiatives.

This role is based in Cluj-Napoca, with the opportunity to work in a hybrid model.

Key Responsibilities of the Role:

• Perform general accounting and tax-related activities.

• Ensure the timely delivery of accurate financial information to internal stakeholders.

• Support the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and variance reports.

• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and investigate outstanding reconciling items, ensuring timely resolution.

• Prepare accounting memorandums for complex group transactions.

• Assist with month-end close activities and the preparation of management accounts.

• Provide tax support, including monthly VAT reviews, preparation, and submissions.

• Support merger and acquisition activities on an ad-hoc basis.

• Contribute to the development, implementation, and improvement of accounting policies, procedures, and controls.

• Support financial data analysis, process improvement initiatives, and special projects.

• Collaborate with finance colleagues and business stakeholders across multiple international locations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar accounting role.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting processes.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience working with Oracle ERP systems.

• Previous experience supporting multinational or international organisations.

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.

• Continuous improvement mindset with an interest in process optimisation and automation.
