Firmly rooted in the Christian faith, the St. Martin's family will share the love of Christ with our diverse school community - all unique and special, made in God's image, with everyone welcomed and included.
Mental health, wellbeing, and inclusion are key, our school provides children with a happy, caring environment in which to learn and achieve. Our dedicated staff work hard to create a learning environment where every child can reach their full potential and develop their personality. We were recently praised by the Government for achieving impressive results that place us "among the very best nationally".
We currently have 9 classes, each with its own coastal themed name to proudly represent our Beach School curriculum and connection to the local area - the coastline and the beaches around it.
We are also excited to launch our New Targeted Mainstream Provision. Our TMP will be an exciting development for North Yorkshire and the Scarborough locality. Our vision is to provide a bespoke educational setting for up to sixteen children across two classes with EHCPs within inclusive mainstream settings. This is a unique opportunity to create, support and grow vital provision for our children, with the support of experienced professionals in our school.
Our school strives to be a caring community, firmly rooted in the Christian faith. We encourage all children to be the best they can be. We recognise the limitless potential of every member of our school community and nurture their unique talents, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to flourish and contribute to positive change for the greater good.
