Job Summary and Qualifications
Assist Vascular Surgeon, Radiologist, Cardiologist, and other physicians as applicable in performance of quality diagnostic Vascular Sonographic procedures in an accurate and timely manner. Operates ultrasound & Segmental Pressure equipment, prepares patients, room equipment, supplies, and medications. Provides patient services using imaging modalities. Maintains a safe environment for patients, fellow-workers, and visitors. Supports and helps achieve departmental and hospital goals. Provides service to all age groups, including infant to geriatric.
Qualifications
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date • RDMS Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or RDMS-AB RDMS Abdomen Specialty or RDMS-OBGYN RDMS Obstetrics & Gynecology or Associate Degree or Certificate • RVT Registered Vascular Technician or RVS Registered Vascular Specialist must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date • Graduate of an accredited school of Ultrasonography, Vascular Ultrasound Program
