General Application Developer I

A major client of ours has a need for a Full Stack .Net Developer for their NY, NY office. This is a contract, hybrid position.

You will primarily work with SharePoint and .NET (Framework & .NET Core in C#) and Angular. Experience with React, Bitbucket, Jenkins, XL Deploy, SonarQube, Checkmarx, CyberArk, Azure, InfoPath (legacy), Power Automate, REST APIs, Informatica, Alteryx Analytics Automation, SQL DBX is a strong plus.

You will:

• Design, build and support enterprise web applications.
• Propose innovative solutions while complying with IT policies and standards.
• Promote modern technologies, best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate with onshore and nearshore teams, IT stakeholders and business users.
• Work in a crossfunctional agile environment and contribute to the innovation roadmap.

Skills:

.NET & web development

• Strong experience in .NET Core and .NET Framework with C#.
• ASP.NET, including MVC and REST services using Web API / ASP.NET Core.
• Development of automated unit tests and integration tests.
• Strong knowledge of modern clientside frameworks, ideally Angular, Kendo UI and TypeScript.
• React experience is a plus.

Data & integration

• Database design and SQL development; very good understanding of relational databases.
• Entity Framework is a plus.
• Experience with RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Informatica, Alteryx Analytics Automation, SQL DBX for reporting and automation is a plus.

DevOps & methodologies

• Good command of DevOps practices, Agile methods and CI/CD.
• Experience with tools such as Bitbucket, Jenkins, XL Deploy, SonarQube, Checkmarx, CyberArk, Azure (Apps).

Soft skills

• Proactive, solutionoriented, able to move forward without waiting for detailed instructions.
• Autonomous, with strong problemsolving skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken (fluency required).
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.

• Experience working in Agile teams.

3-7 years of experience working in a financial institution or similar
