Schedule: Day shift | Monday–Friday | 7:00am–3:30pm

About the Opportunity
Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring General Assemblers for a manufacturing company in Fairmont, MN. In this role, you’ll help assemble quality HVAC components used in on-road and off-road vehicles while supporting daily production goals. If you enjoy hands-on work, repetitive tasks, and working with a team in a manufacturing environment, this temp-to-hire opportunity offers reliable hours and weekly pay.
What You’ll Do as a General Assembler:- Assemble parts, sub-assemblies, and final products according to work instructions and drawings
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and basic production equipment safely
- Follow daily production schedules and quality standards
- Inspect products to ensure they meet specifications and minimize rework
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Communicate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
What You Need to Bring to the General Assembler Role:- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
- Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand and power tool
- Ability to read and follow basic work instructions
- Reliable attendance and dependability
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Manufacturing experience preferred but not required – entry-level candidates welcome
