General Assembly
We are currently seeking motivated candidates with mechanical aptitude and soldering or wiring experience to join our team in Medina, Ohio. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills in electronics and mechanical assemblies for a well-known global company.
As part of our team, you will work with electrical and mechanical components such as modules and circuit boards, perform product testing prior to packaging, and complete essential documentation.
Hours- 1st Shift, Monday-Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
Pay- $18.00/hr (raises based on performance)
Key Responsibilities- Assemble electronic and mechanical components according to blueprints and technical specifications
- Perform wiring, soldering, and component installation as required
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Test finished products and identify, correct assembly defects
- Complete device history records and daily production logs
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace
- Assist in the warehouse as needed
Minimum Requirements- High School Diploma or GED certificate
- Mechanical assembly experience preferred
- Electrical assembly and testing experience a plus
- Ability to read and follow blueprints and technical drawings
- Soldering experience; wiring experience a plus
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to follow directions
- Manual dexterity
