General Associate 2 - Warehouse Checker

Our cold storage warehouse is looking for a detail-oriented, motivated Checker (General Associate 2) to join our team. This role builds on warehouse experience and takes on added responsibility for the accurate receiving and shipping of perishable products in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled environment. This is a physically demanding job. This is a full-time position with overtime. Schedule: M-F AM shift starting as early as 5:30 am. What you'll be doing: While working in a cold environment (38-45 degrees), you will be: Using an RF scanner to receive inbound loads and scan product into our warehouse management system Taking product temperatures and verifying cold chain compliance upon receipt Reconciling product counts against bills of lading and flagging any discrepancies Inspecting incoming trailers, containers, and boxcars for product integrity and equipment condition Tagging and labeling product pallets with ID labels and entering information accurately into the warehouse system You will also support all Warehouse Associate duties, including: Unloading and loading pallets from trailers and bobtails Hand-stacking of cases onto containers.
