General Bottling Operator

Hours:
Monday- Thursday 7:00am-5:30pm possible overtime on Friday

Position Purpose:

The General Operator performs non-technical tasks for Bottling. These tasks can include, but are not limited to glass uncasing, hand corking, shrink-sleeving, case erecting, hang-tagging, palletizing, re-working, label writing, cardboard bailing and cleaning.

Core Responsibilities

• Perform various tasks as described by the Bottling Supervisor or other Management personnel.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Adhere to good manufacturing practices (GMP's).

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent education preferred.
• Able to follow directions.
• Able to work physically close to other employees.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

• Fast paced, warehouse and industrial environment.
• Exposure to hazardous materials such as alcohol and chemicals, loud noise, and moderate heat/cold.
• Essential physical requirements, such as frequent climbing, standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching , crawling, reaching and lifting, occasionally above shoulders.
• Physical effort/lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Some overtime required.
• Able to stand and walk all day with minimal breaks.
• Able to lift, carry and pull 50 pounds or less.
• Able to kneel, squat, bend, and climb.
• Able to work around alcohol and other flammable liquids.
• Able to visually inspect products.
