Shore Regional Health, a member of the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS), is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible General Cardiologist to join a well-established, high-volume practice with over 45 years of service.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a collaborative, physician-led team providing comprehensive cardiovascular care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Practice Details
- Established cardiology group with strong referral base
- Team includes:
- 6 General Cardiologists
- 3 Interventional Cardiologists
- 7 Advanced Practice Providers
- Monday-Friday schedule (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
- Inpatient & outpatient mix
- Call: 1:6 rotation
- ~6 weekdays/month
- 1 weekend every 5-6 weeks
Clinical Responsibilities
- Interpretation of echocardiograms, EKGs, stress tests, and Zio monitoring
- Provide consultations and comprehensive cardiac care
- Practice includes:
- Nuclear Cardiology
- Echocardiography
- Pacemaker Clinic
- Heart Failure Clinic
- Support primary angioplasty program with interventional team
- Collaborate with 24/7 in-house intensivist coverage
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $556,470
- Based on MGMA and SullivanCotter benchmarks
- Commensurate with experience and training
- Sign-on options (choose one):
- $20,000-$25,000 bonus OR
- $50,000 housing allowance (year one)
- Relocation assistance up to $10,000

Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Board Certified/Eligible in Cardiology
- Maryland medical license (or eligibility)
- DEA certification
