Job Summary

We are looking for individuals to join our client’s team as General Clerk. This role provides administrative and clerical support to ensure the efficient day-to-day operations of the department. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and able to manage scheduling and general office tasks in a fast-paced environment.

 

Job Description

  • Perform general office duties, including photocopying, collating, stuffing envelopes, sorting, filing, and indexing documents alphabetically or numerically.
  • Greet visitors and provide professional customer service.
  • Answer and direct phone calls in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Pull, file, and maintain charts and records.
  • Send and receive documents via fax and other office equipment.
  • Assist with nursing department scheduling.
  • Maintain accurate records and support daily administrative operations.
  • Perform other clerical duties as assigned, including occasional light lifting.

 

Skills Required

  • Minimum of two (2) years of clerical or administrative experience.
  • Experience with scheduling, preferably in a healthcare or office setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Reliable, flexible, and able to take initiative.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a busy environment.
  • Ability to perform occasional light lifting.

 

Education/Training/Certifications

  • High School Diploma/GED

 

Additional Requirements

  • Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
  • 2 forms of ID required. DOC and PREA will need to be completed.

 

 Pay Rate

  • $22–$26 per hour, based on experience, skills, and market factors
