General Construction Manager / Owners Representative

Advantage Point Group, Inc. is looking to add a General Construction Manager / Owners Representative with Mechanical and Electrical experience for a position at an industrial plant in Clarkston, GA to monitor construction on capital and plant maintenance projects.About UsAdvantage Point Group, Inc.  is an engineering consulting firm that has provided field and engineering services, construction, and project management, including architecture and design, mechanical & electrical engineering since 1983. www.apgroup.netPLEASE NO RECRUITING OR STAFFING AGENCIES!Responsibilities As an Owners Rep you are liaison between engineering & construction contractors, overseeing contractors on site to ensure they are performing tasks safely and compliant with the contract. The Owners Rep's role is to oversee contractors performing work in accordance with the guidelines and specifications of the Owner and oversee permitting procedures. You will NOT be performing the maintenance and physical labor.Requirements

• 12 years previous experience in Industrial and/or Heavy Commercial work required.
• Mechanical and Electrical construction experience required.
• Excellent communication skills & computer skills (Microsoft Office) required.
• Must have the ability to deal with political aspects of a large corporate environment.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Planned Schedule: Starts in October.
• Full-Time Direct hire position.
• Day shift, 8-hour days with occasional extended hours and weekends.

Competitive Compensation and Benefits

• Pay Rate: $135K to $198K ($65 - $95 per hour) depending upon previous experience and qualifications.
• NOT eligible for per diem.
