The successful candidate will be a strategic legal advisor to executive leadership, with a focus on legal strategy, operations, compliance, privacy, risk, corporate governance, and product and intellectual property. This role requires a hands-on approach, with the General Counsel expected to assess the company's legal and compliance posture, develop and execute a scalable compliance program, and manage legal activities across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong in-house background at an international, B2B SaaS company, and a proven track record in building and leading legal teams. Experience in cybersecurity, data privacy, or a regulated technology sector is a plus.Applicants for the General Counsel position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years of legal experience, with at least 4 years in a leadership role. A law degree and admission to the local governing body are required. The role demands a deep understanding of sell-side SaaS contracting, experience in navigating complex deals, and a strong ability to drive legal and compliance improvements across functions. The General Counsel will also be responsible for advising on the legal and regulatory implications of AI-driven features and data handling practices.
