General Dentist

What You'll Be Doing

• Examining patients and reviewing their dental and medical histories to fully understand their oral health needs
• Diagnosing oral health issues and creating treatment plans tailored to each patient
• Performing a wide range of general dentistry procedures, including fillings, crowns, extractions, and preventive care
• Reading X-rays and other diagnostic tests to guide your treatment decisions
• Helping patients understand their treatment options and easing any anxiety about their visit
• Prescribing medications when needed, following all applicable regulations
• Referring patients to specialists when a case calls for it, and coordinating care as needed
• Keeping accurate, up-to-date patient records in line with privacy and regulatory standards
• Following proper sterilization and infection control practices throughout the office
• Working closely with dental assistants and front-office staff to keep things running smoothly
• Jumping into mentorship opportunities and ongoing learning to keep growing your skills
• Staying in the loop on new techniques, materials, and technology in dentistry

What We're Looking For

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
• Active, valid dental license in good standing as required by the state of practice
• Solid clinical skills across a range of general dentistry procedures
• Great communication skills, both with patients and other dental professionals
• An eye for detail and a real commitment to quality, patient-centered care
• Good time-management skills to juggle a busy, varied schedule
• Comfort with dental practice software and digital imaging is a plus
• A professional approach to patient confidentiality and safety standards
• An eagerness to learn and grow, with openness to mentorship along the way
