About the Practice - Family Practice of Eastman
Family Practice of Eastman is a well-established, fully PPO dental office serving the Eastman community. Our practice is known for delivering high-quality, comprehensive care in a welcoming and efficient environment, supported by a strong and experienced clinical team.
The office features 6 fully equipped operatories and is staffed with 2 dental assistants and 2 hygienists, creating an efficient and productive workflow. We currently average 23 patients per day and are looking to grow to 27+ patients daily with the addition of the right provider.
Schedule:
Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Lunch break from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
This is a PPO-only practice (no Medicaid), offering a stable and quality-focused patient base.
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled, productive, and compassionate General Dentist to join our team. This role is ideal for a provider who is comfortable performing a wide range of procedures and thrives in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. The ideal candidate values clinical excellence, efficiency, and building long-term patient relationships.
Key Qualifications
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
- Active or eligible dental license in the state of Georgia
- Strong experience in comprehensive general dentistry, including preventive and restorative care
- Comfortable performing implants, endodontics, and extractions (required)
- Ability to manage higher patient volume while maintaining quality care
- Strong communication skills and a patient-focused approach
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
Responsibilities
- Promote oral health and disease prevention
- Diagnose and treat oral diseases
- Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
- Develop and present comprehensive treatment plans
- Review, maintain, and update patient records
- Interpret X-rays and diagnostic tests
- Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
- Provide preventive, restorative, and surgical dental care
- Maintain the highest standards of clinical care, ethics, and professionalism
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuing education
