Join a well-established, patient-focused dental practice in Rumford, Rhode Island, where you'll have the opportunity to step directly into an existing patient base. Our primary General Dentist is departing after purchasing a practice, creating an immediate opportunity for a new provider to take over an established schedule.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dentist who wants to become the primary provider within the practice while benefiting from an experienced team and strong hygiene program.

The office features 4 operatories, including 2 dedicated doctor operatories and 2 hygiene operatories, with two Registered Dental Hygienists scheduled each day. This provides the incoming dentist with consistent opportunities for comprehensive examinations, treatment planning, and restorative care.

The practice is also equipped with modern clinical technology, including:

• CBCT and panoramic imaging
• Electric handpiece system
• WaveOne endodontic system

Position Summary

We are seeking a full-time General Dentist to become the primary provider in our Rumford practice. With the current doctor departing at the end of October, the incoming dentist will have the opportunity to step into an established patient base and existing clinical demand.

You'll serve as the primary dentist while working alongside two hygienists each day and an experienced clinical and administrative support team.

This position is ideal for a dentist who enjoys comprehensive treatment planning, values clinical autonomy, and wants the opportunity to develop long-term relationships with an established patient population.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive general dentistry, including preventive, restorative, cosmetic, and emergency care.
• Perform comprehensive examinations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Diagnose and educate patients regarding their treatment options and long-term oral health.
• Collaborate closely with the hygiene team to identify treatment needs and ensure continuity of care.
• Utilize CBCT imaging and other available technology to support diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Provide endodontic treatment within the provider's comfort level and scope of practice.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical documentation.
• Build lasting patient relationships through excellent communication and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
• Active Rhode Island dental license in good standing or eligibility to obtain one.
• Strong clinical and comprehensive treatment-planning skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable working as the primary provider within an established practice.
• Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered dentistry.
